Gratitude List

Some days, we need to think hard to see the positives side of life. Some days, it comes naturally. Today? A little bit of both.

1) Managed to convince people on something they oppposed before was a big success to me. Skill on negotiating your way, how to compromise, how to create the feeling of win-win. All that in one.

2) Heard that a new change in work life will be coming my way. Just keep it at that for now already made my day. 

3) Shopping. YES. A range of Hewi Pottah stuff! From mug to notebook. I just want to scream Expecto Patronum!

Paying Tribute to Our Days

Hello sawangggggg.

Terima kasihlah tolong temankan blog 4 sweethearts yang telah dilupakan zaman echewah.

We are about to revive a lovely tradition that makes our somewhat lethargic life a tad more bearable. In that, we know, whatever befalls us, there are always good that happens, and that the good needs a good spotlight, the antidote to those times when we just want to call it quits. I present you: 

Gratitude List.

Let me (@shawnsharif) start with mine, which is date 2 December 2018:

1. I get to sleep in a lot - because it's Sunday :P

2. Since it was raining, my cats decided to sleep in with me yay! Cuddle wuddle time!

3. Who can say no to the sickly sweet taste of TAPAI OMG if only the tummy is a little bit more macho I would have downed a few more cups of those! 

Passing the Happy baton to Aishata! Or the high flying Sujie! Or the traveling Azwahas!

5 tahun kemudian...

So dah lima tahun blog ni tak berupdate.

All 4 of us dah banyak berubah...

Azwa in Abu Dhabi. Not Oman anymore.

Suzie now dah Principal. Setakat nak present course material, dah dihujung jari.

Shawn dah jadi lego experts. Siap menjual lagi.

And me? eh ape yang aku dah ubah for the last 5 years?? oh Adam. yes. I am a mother now. hahahaha.

What does not changed?

We are still BFF! 

We are alive and kicking.

In less than 5 years, we will join the 40s club. Oh my! How time flies. 

Lego Mania

What do you do when you're waiting for THAT call for your OJT?

You play with LEGO!

Step by step:

1. Unpack from box! Normally the pieces are packaged in different plastic bags according to the components of the Lego buildings/vehicles/scenes to help us be more organized 

2. Most of the Legos come with 3 instruction books, from beginner to expert levels of creations. I choose to attack the expert one as that was the selling point of this set for me. 

Choose your level! 

3. Organizing the pieces, this takes about half the time used to build :)

Travelling the world!

Even though our feet are still in Malaysia, Google Earth is always there to help us imagine what to expect and as if we are already taking a stroll there. I LOVE to do planning for travels. Looking at the possibility to stay in Europe for a year, i have make a list of places to visit in Europe. Enjoy!

Salam people (readers)

Oh man, I'm the last one to write among the 4 of us so let me feed you with the beginning of my Oman journey

1. So the husband (babah) flew to the (big) city of Oman on Mon 23rd, he took the morning flight and of course I had to shed 2-3 teardrops for cliché and somehow baby A being a doll as always, understood that babah is going to be away for a while and she literally pat my shoulder.

2. Went home from the airport and realizing that babah is away, baby A switched on to cranky mode, mommy had to put on the supermommy hat !

3. Babah sent the first pic of the city around 6pm (local time):

4. Babah created his FB account just to brag around. Apparently he's enjoying his trip there, first day je dah merayap cari mall. Yeayy ade Lulu Hypermarket!!

5. Oh babah will be staying at Park Inn hotel for 2 weeks, a 4 star hotel so not bad huh. And as a new staff, apparently the company hired an agent to bring around the staff and family for a welcoming trip. Bestnya jadi expat, for sure the expats from my previous company did the same thing.

6. Day 2 there babah paid a trip to a newly opened mall: Muscat Grand Mall. And I'm so happy to be seeing ALDO and such. Hehehehhehe.

Alright, that's all for now, such a long elaborative post, I promise I keep it short and precise in the next posts to come.

Can't wait to be joining babah soon! I'm so thrilled!
